Katharyn “Kate” Hiebert is the Founder and President of Michael Patrick Consulting, LLC, bringing more than 30 years of experience in defense, government operations, business analysis, and strategic development to every client engagement.

Katharyn “Kate” Hiebert is the Founder and President of Michael Patrick Consulting, LLC, bringing more than 30 years of experience in defense, government operations, business analysis, and strategic development to every client engagement.

Kate is recognized for her ability to translate complex challenges into clear decisions, sustainable structures, and measurable results. Her strengths include decision architecture, operating model design, strategy-to-execution alignment, and enterprise-level problem-solving—supported by a calm, structured approach valued by CEOs and senior leaders.

Kate graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in German area studies and systems engineering. She served as a US Army officer, attaining the rank of Captain with assignments in Italy, Kansas City, and Korea. She later earned both an MBA in international business and an MA in international affairs from George Washington University.

Kate’s experience includes senior-level consulting for government, nonprofit, and private-sector leaders. Before founding Michael Patrick Consulting, LLC, she was a Strategy and Management Consultant at SAIC, where she led initiatives in governance, performance management, and organizational transformation.

Across Kate’s career, leaders consistently highlight her integrity, analytical rigor, and ability to bring order, alignment, and momentum to high‑stakes environments.
