Kate Hiebert is the President and Founder of Michael Patrick Consulting, LLC. She brings over 28 years of experience in defense and government operations and over 20 years of experience in business analysis and strategy development to every engagement. Kate has worked with government and non-profit organizations and private businesses to develop corporate, operational, marketing and human resources strategic plans. She continues her service to clients by executing those plans efficiently and effectively in given time constraints. Her ability to define the real problems, understand the client and deliver value-added and results-oriented solutions has helped her establish and maintain business relationships throughout the years. She is the trusted advisor of many business and organizational leaders and continues to be an exceptional problem-solver.

For the last 17 years, Kate has teamed with various senior leaders and CEOs to develop company visions, strategic plans and strategic processes that have transformed workforces, repositioned companies to more lucrative spaces and re-aligned resources for more efficient operations.  She offers not only the conceptualizing and planning services but the execution services as well.  She comes to every engagement with a broad and deep understanding of leadership, management, business and an array of industry knowledge.  Together with organizational leadership, she outlines the work ahead and, as needed, coaches, mentors, negotiates and facilitates group problem-solving.

Recently, Michael Patrick Consulting has added educational and professional coaching services to their offerings. In the realm of professional coaching, Michael Patrick Consulting offers career advice, leadership development, and problem-solving coaching. For educational consulting, Michael Patrick Consulting offers college selection, major selection, application prep, essay writing services, and interview prep services. We help budding young talent define their future prospects, develop a strategy to achieve that future, and coach each individual to live up to their potential.

Early in her career, Kate graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point with a Bachelor of Science in German Area Studies and Systems Engineering. Upon graduation, she became a U.S. Army Officer attaining the rank of Captain. She served in Vicenza, Italy for U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, in Kansas City for U.S. Military Entrance Processing Station-KC, and in Seoul, Korea for Special Operations Command Korea. After resigning and being honorably discharged, Kate attended the George Washington University, where she graduated with an MBA in International Business and a Masters of Arts in International Affairs. While finishing her graduate studies, Kate became a Strategy and Management Consultant for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where she consulted for Department of Defense customers and helped to manage several multi-million dollar ANSWER contracts. In 2008, Kate formed Michael Patrick Consulting, LLC and has continued her strategy and management consulting with small to medium businesses, non-profit organizations and Federal government offices.

Kate attained Lean Six Sigma Sensei through Villanova University in 2006 and Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification in 2018.
